Emergency services were called to a two-car crash at Old West Rd and Summerhill Drive, near Palmerston North, yesterday.

Fire, ambulance and police attended after the cars collided at the intersection at about 11.15am.

A police communications spokesman said there were only minor injuries, one driver complained of a sore back, but they were treated at the scene and released.

Both vehicles were towed, and there were no road closures.
