Car crashes into pole in Levin
Diversions were in place in Levin after a car crashed into a power pole.
The crash, on Cambridge St between Tyne and Roosevelt Sts, happened shortly after 11am.
Police central communications shift commander Mark Oliver said live wires had come down in the crash, and a power company had been called to disconnect the wires.
Acting Sergeant Simon Carter said the driver, in his mid-50s, was travelling North on Cambridge St when he had a diabetes related medical episode.
Diversions were in place down Tyne St and Roosevelt St while the scene was cleared.
