Earthquakes have continued to rattle the lower North Island.
About 10.30pm yesterday, a 5.1 magnitude quake struck 35km north east of Taihape, at a depth of 127km, according to GeoNet.
Meanwhile, earthquakes, some undetectable, have continued to rumble near Eketahuna, which was severely shaken late last month when a magnitude 6.2 hit 15km east of the Tararua town, prompting more than 9000 ''felt'' reports to GeoNet.
