The Hurricanes line up to host the Chiefs at Mangatainoka this Saturday was announced this morning.

Captain Conrad Smith will make his first appearance in the black-and- yellow jersey for 2013 as the team run out for their final pre-season match before the Super Rugby season begins.

Hurricanes head coach Mark Hammett is looking forward to the pre-season game.

"We can't wait to head back to Mangatainoka this weekend. There is a real sense of rugby community up there. It is great we can be involved with grassroots rugby and take this game to the heart of Hurricanes territory," he said.

"Playing the Chiefs will be a fantastic match. As defending champs, they will be fierce competitors and will help prepare our team for another big season ahead."

Kick off is at 3pm.
