Since their inception in late 2005, Auckland band An Emerald City have strived for musical experimentation and liberation.
Organic instrumentation and sounds of the east meet psychedelia with guitars and violin are at the centre of this original and unique six piece.
They are on the line-up of Kiwi artists to be playing at the inaugural Sounds Aotearoa gig in New Plymouth in March in the run-up to WOMAD.
But before that they are embarking on a nationwide tour and will be in Kaikoura, playing at the Mayfair Theatre, next Wednesday.
Tickets will be on sale at the door from 7pm for $15.
The concert starts at 8pm.
