The Marlborough Youth Orchestra is inviting all young musicians aspiring to join an orchestra to come along to its Have A Go day tomorrow.
Current orchestra members range in age from 11 to 17 years and the group is keen to recruit young musicians.
Musical director Barbara Song said the orchestra would particularly like to have a few new flute players, violinists, a cellist or two, another clarinet, a keyboard player and some brass.
Prospective members will practise and perform a short version of the popular William Tell Overture with current orchestra members, and will also get to hear one of the orchestra's 2009 pieces.
The session is being held at Blenheim School Hall at 3.45pm Thursday, February 4.
