The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment is hosting a free landlord seminar at the Scenic Hotel Marlborough in Blenheim on March 20 from 7pm to 9.15pm.

The presentation, in partnership with the New Zealand Property Investors Federation, will focus on practical property management, aimed at landlords who have been in the New Zealand rental market for less than 18 months.

The seminar will focus on tenancy agreements, effective tenancy management and dispute resolution, and give practical tips on building rapport with tenants, making the best use of the pre-tenancy application form, credit checks, and the property inspection checklist.
