Marlborough wines starred at the New Zealand International Wine Show.

Johanneshof Cellars' Noble Late Harvest Marlborough Riesling 2007 won the Federal GEO Champion Sweet Wine trophy, with judges calling it a "hedonistic sweetie with a wonderfully cleansing finish".

Saint Clair Pioneer Block 1 Foundation Block Sauvignon Blanc 2009 won the Eurowine Champion Sauvignon Blanc trophy, and Toi Toi Marlborough Riesling 2009 won the Camshorn Champion Riesling.

Negociants New Zealand Limited won First Glass Champion Wine Company of the Show, with five trophies and 18 gold medals.
