A trailer full of logs ended up on the road after the driver of a logging truck lost control driving around a corner in Marlborough.
The incident happened at Northbank Rd, Onamalutu, west of Renwick, about 8.45am on Monday.
A police spokeswoman said the driver lost control, causing the trailer to drift into a ditch and tip on its side. The driver swerved on to the wrong side of the road, but managed to get the truck under control.
The driver was not injured and no other vehicles were involved in the accident, the spokeswoman said. The trucking company organised the logs and trailer to be moved and the driver was given a ticket for failing to stay in a lane, the spokeswoman said.
