Further charges against a Lyttelton man charged with burglary of six boats in Picton are likely, police say.
Defence lawyer David Goldwater said in the Christchurch District Court yesterday police had told him to expect that a "raft" of further charges would be laid against 42-year-old Sean Patrick Clark. The police prosecutor in court, Bronwen Blackmore, confirmed that.
Clark remains in custody on six boat burglary charges, unlawful possession of a firearm, and theft of a trailer, scooter, and number plate.
He has entered no pleas.
He is to reappear on July 3.
