A further 20 Blenheim properties were hit by taggers at the weekend, police say.

Constable Andrew Holdaway, of Blenheim, said the taggers targeted Monro and Dillon streets on Saturday and Sunday. The pavilion at Marlborough Boys' College was hit, along with fences, telecom boxes and buildings.

Vandals spraypainted 15 properties between Stephenson St and Alabama Rd, and between Redwood St and Weld St last Wednesday and Friday.

Most of that was done with the same orange paint, Holdaway said.

Police believed the style of tags over the past week was similar and could have been done by the same person.

Police are asking anyone with information on the graffiti and tagging to contact Blenheim police on 03 578 5279 or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
