Man flown out after campervan crash
A 75-year-old Christchurch man who crashed his campervan in Blenheim after a heart attack has been flown to Christchurch Hospital.
The man and his wife were visiting Blenheim for a funeral when the accident happened about noon on Wednesday. A hospital spokeswoman said the man was flown to Christchurch hospital in a stable condition on Wednesday night.
He lost control of the campervan as he was driving through the Alfred St/Sinclair St roundabout, causing it to crash through shrubbery and come to a stop just before the railway line.
