Woman injured in domestic incident

A young woman was taken to hospital after she was injured during a domestic incident in Renwick yesterday.
Police said the 19-year-old woman was cut on the arm and treated at Wairau Hospital.
A 42-year-old woman was arrested at 5.15pm in relation to the incident and kept in custody overnight to appear in the Blenheim District Court today on a charge of injuring with intent.
Also yesterday, a woman was arrested for dangerous driving and failing to remain stopped, after police pulled her over but she drove off again.
Police said the woman had been stopped on High St in Renwick because of the manner of her driving. While police were speaking to a witness, the woman drove off and was found a short time later at a nearby house.
A 20-year-old woman was arrested at 10.20pm.
Early today, two men aged 19 and 25 were arrested for being unlawfully on a Springlands property and disorderly behaviour likely to cause violence about 1.50am.
The 19-year-old was also charged with breaching court bail. Both would appear in court today, police said.
Meanwhile, at 11pm on Friday, two women aged 34 and 26 were arrested for intentionally obstructing a police constable after an incident in the Redwoodtown area.
Police said the younger woman was also charged with assaulting a male.
