Detachment commander officer cadet Liam Scott gets painted with "camouflage" mud by some helpful pupils at Seddon School yesterday.

Mr Scott was one of 25 air force officer cadets training at Base Woodbourne who were at the school yesterday for community work that included painting, gardening and running a sports afternoon with senior pupils.

The cadets, who are on a five-day camp at Seddon, are in the final week of their 23-week initial officer training course.
