Police at the scene of an incident in Eltham Rd in Blenheim where four houses have been cordoned off overnight.

A 30-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in Eltham Rd, Blenheim, around midnight last night, say police.
A stretch of houses on Eltham Rd were cordoned by police off early this morning as they investigated the complaint from the woman that she was sexually assaulted in the street between Rogers and Stratford St.
A police guard was posted at the cordon, in Eltham Rd.
CIB head Detective Sergeant Dave Woodley said Police had conducted a scene examination this morning and were interviewing the victim and her associates.
He said Police would like to hear from anyone who was in Eltham Rd in the area last night.
They would also like to hear from anyone who heard any sort of commotion in the area last night.
A 50-year-old woman was sexually violated in her Eltham Rd home in November last year.
The attacker, Samuel Wiremu John Edmonds, 28, was sentenced to seven years in prison after previously admitting two charges of sexual violation and one charge of burglary.
