A 20-year-old Blenheim woman was injured when the car she was driving crashed in Blenheim early today.
St John operations team manager Rebecca Lee said the woman suffered moderate head injuries, while an 18-year-old male passenger suffered minor arm injuries.
The pair were taken by ambulance to Wairau Hospital where a hospital spokeswoman said they were treated and discharged.
Constable Michelle Stagg, of Blenheim, said the woman lost control of the car and crashed into a tree on Bexhill Cres, off Cleghorn St, in Blenheim about 1.35am.
The woman was likely to face charges, Miss Stagg said.
