A Blenheim teenager who injured himself while skiing was airlifted from Rainbow Skifield to Wairau Hospital on Saturday afternoon.
Nelson Marlborough rescue helicopter pilot Jarrod Colbourne said the 16-year-old was picked up about 2pm by the rescue helicopter.
He had dislocated his patella (kneecap) while skiing.
A hospital spokesman said the teenager was treated at Wairau Hospital and discharged the same day.
