The Blenheim man facing a raft of drug and sex related charges has been remanded in custody to appear in the Blenheim District Court on Monday.
Blenheim police Detective sergeant David Woodley said the 64-year-old was arrested yesterday, after police searched his house on suspicion that he had been dealing drugs and having sex with underage girls.
Mr Woodley said police recovered a large amount of material including cannabis, methamphetamine, ecstasy and photographs at the man's home.
The man has interim name suppression and has been charged with a number of offences including dealing class A and class C drugs, sexual violation and unlawful sexual connection.
Police investigations are continuing, in the belief further victims will be identified, he said.
