Phillip Charles Thow, 32, of Christchurch, appeared in the Blenheim District Court yesterday on charges of unlawfully taking a motor vehicle in Christchurch on August 19 or 20, theft of petrol from Caltex Blenheim on September 4, theft of petrol from Caltex Kaikoura on September 4 and two charges of being in possession of keys with intent to commit a crime.
He was remanded in custody to appear in court on September 14.
Troy Nicholas Thomas, 22, unemployed of Blenheim, appeared on a charge of stealing a hooded jersey and baseball cap from a teenager and was remanded on bail to reappear in Blenheim court on September 24.
