You're going to love, love, love the the Marlborough Wine and Food Festival next year.
Auckland band Avalanche City, who's song Love, Love, Love has been a huge hit, have been announced as one of the main acts. The ever popular Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra, who give old favourites a new lease of life, will also take the stage at the festival at Brancott Vineyard near Blenheim on February 9.
Organisers said both acts were hugely popular within the New Zealand music scene and would add to the exceptional experience the festival would deliver.
General manager Marcus Pickens said last week the event's name had changed to the Marlborough Wine and Food festival to reflect a great emphasis on food.
Other changes are in store, including the Festival Quarter, and a Culinary Pavilion set up on the upper terrace. With seating for 300 people and demonstrations by well-known chefs throughout the day, organisers expected the pavilion to be popular.
