Jewellery chain setting up in town
New Zealand jewellery chain store Pascoes is opening a Blenheim branch on November 1, says southern regional manager Tilly Gurney.
Blenheim firm Haack Construction is rebuilding the new store, which formerly housed the SBS Bank, on Market St. It will be complete by October 23. Marlborough District Council building consent figures show the retail fitout is worth $125,000.
Ms Gurney, of Christchurch, was in Blenheim interviewing potential staff applicants last week. Alex Matthews, of Blenheim, has been appointed store manager.
Pascoes Blenheim is one of the 34 stores nationwide and is owned by the Norman family, who also own the jewellery chain stores Stewart Dawsons and Goldmark.
