If you feel like a boat trip in the Marlborough Sounds during anniversary weekend on October 27-29, the Kaipupu Point Sounds Wildlife Sanctuary needs volunteers to do track clearing and planting at a working bee on Saturday.
Break out your gardening gloves, sturdy shoes and plenty of sandfly repellent and be at the visitors' wharf in Picton at 9am where you will be taken to the site.
A sausage sizzle will be held after the work is finished about noon.
