Family and friends of Adam Toleman, who died in a van fire on October 8, will remember him with a fitting memorial service on the beach on Friday.
Adam, 28, had been living in Kaikoura on and off for the past four years. He was widely known for his love of the outdoors and spent much of his spare time on the beach or surfing.
He has been described as a generous, gentle soul, who never had a bad word to say about anyone.
Adam was hard-working, conscientious, and a pleasure to be around, say friends and employers.
PAY RESPECTS
For all those who wish to pay their respects to Adam, the memorial service will be held at Meatworks, Kiwa Rd, at 2pm this Friday.
