The Department of Conservation is calling for volunteer camp hosts to help look after summer visitors to the Kerr Bay and West Bay campgrounds by Lake Rotoiti, in the Nelson Lakes National Park.
Hosts receive campers to their booked sites, book late arrivals into the camps and liaise with the Nelson Lakes Visitor Centre and DOC rangers.
Volunteers get a free powered campsite for acting as hosts. More information is available through the Nelson Lakes area office on 03 521 1806, or on the website doc.govt.nz
