A 30-year-old Czech man was taken into police custody in Blenheim after being found near Stadium 2000, in Kinross St, too drunk to look after himself.
Police said they found the vineyard worker at 11.50pm on Friday.
He was unable to give police his address and was held in custody and released when he was sober.
Meanwhile, another vineyard worker was arrested in Blenheim early on Sunday morning for breaching the peace after being denied entry to a bar.
Police said they came across the 18-year-old man at 1.15am in Kinross St.
He was extremely drunk and became agitated after being refused entry by door staff. He was released when sober.
