A 43-year-old male sickness beneficiary was arrested on Friday after a man was verbally abused on a construction site, police say. Constable Andrew Holdaway, of Blenheim, said the man was warned to move on by the victim and his colleagues working on the construction site. He was to appear in the Blenheim District Court yesterday.
A 17-year-old male factory hand was arrested on Friday for breaching his bail conditions after moving without notifying the court of his new address. He appeared in court on Friday.
A 20-year-old man was arrested for fighting in Scott St at 3am on Sunday. He was given a pre-charge warning and was released when sober.
