The Picton Christmas Parade will start at the police station in High St at 2pm on Saturday.
The parade will feature music from the Blenheim Highland Band and the RNZAF band, a range of floats and festive cheer.
Prizes will be awarded at the Picton Foreshore with entertainment from performers such as the Queen Charlotte College kapa haka group and the Picton School Choir, after the parade.
Picton Christmas Parade co-ordinator Beryl Bowers said parade entries were "filling fast".
"The decorated bikes and scooters are a part of the parade once again so please find the old tinsel and crepe paper for the children so they can decorate their bike or scooter."
The best community float and business float will each win a top prize of $200, second place in each category will receive $100.
The parade is sponsored by Marlborough Lines, Port Marlborough and organised by volunteers.
