Volunteer collector Mariann Grant accepts donated food last night from Natasha Leach and Yvette Park, both 9, Isaac Park, and Darcy Leach, 7, in Blenheim last night during the annual street collection for the Marlborough Community Foodbank Appeal.

The collectors, who announced their progress with sirens, were also out in Havelock, Renwick and Picton between 6pm and 8pm gathering non-perishable food to restock the shelves for the coming year, and especially during the Christmas season.
