The Tui Club held their last weekly outing of the year on Tuesday last week with a trip back to Taylor Dam, where they had their first outing in mid-October.
"We had a great afternoon - the kids watching the swans with their cygnets again, checking if everyone still liked butter with the buttercup shine on the necks, something they remembered from their first visit here nine weeks ago.
"They played on the swings for ages, had a picnic lunch under a tree and then we went on an adventure through the meadow - playing hide 'n seek and tag, making daisy chains and exploring the forest area with its many hideouts," playcentre president Jane Dowd said.
The club will be run again next year. To be a part of it contact Nicola Poswillo of Blenheim Playcentre on 03 577 5216.
The outings are open to Marlborough Playcentre members active 3-year-olds and upward.
