The Molesworth Station Road opens this year on Friday, December 28, with some new attractions for visitors.
Interpretation panels are now in place along Archeron Rd, with facts, stories and interesting information about the station's farming history and the rare and varied plant life that can be seen along the way.
For trampers, there is a new East-West route linking the Kahutara River in the Clarence Conservation Park with the Sedgemere Lakes Area in the Molesworth recreation reserve.
For those who prefer the comfort of a vehicle, the journey through to Hanmer Springs can be taken as a day trip.
The road takes in some incredible scenery and there are many short walks so you can admire the views.
Roads are open from 7am to 7pm.
