The driver of a car that hit a woman on Thursday morning has been issued with an infringement notice for failing to give way, Blenheim police say.
The woman, thought to be in her 30s, was taken to Wairau Hospital with minor cuts and abrasions, said Constable Andrew Holdaway, of Blenheim.
The accident happened at the corner of Hutcheson and Parker streets about 9am.
Passing motorists stopped and directed traffic until police and St John Ambulance arrived at the scene.
