About 20 families turned out for fun at the Rarangi pump track and playground on Saturday.
Children, big and small, tested their technical bike skills on the pump track, their steady hands with the egg-and-spoon race, and co-ordination in the sack race and three-legged race.
The fun day was organised by the Rarangi District Residents' Association, which was named the top community group in the region at the TrustPower Marlborough Community Awards in October. The residents' association, which is made up of more than 250 households, will represent Marlborough at the 2012 TrustPower national awards in March.
