A 16-year-old youth was arrested for unlawfully taking a motor vehicle in Blenheim early on Saturday, police say.
Police were called after a car was stolen in Maxwell Rd.
Constable Andrew Holdaway, of Blenheim, said the car was found in Weld St with the engine still running.
A police dog unit tracked the youth to a house in Redwood St. He is to appear in the Blenheim Youth Court.
A 17-year-old unemployed youth was arrested on Saturday after a coffee cup was thrown at a wooden door, putting a hole in it.
The youth was arrested at 6.50pm and is to appear in the Blenheim District Court on February 4.
A 66-year-old woman was arrested on Sunday after two DVDs, a watch and a bracelet were stolen from a shop in Blenheim. The retired woman was arrested at 5.10pm and released with a pre-charge warning.
A 42-year-old man was arrested on Sunday morning after police searched his Gardiner St home. Four 172 centimetre cannabis plants were found, Mr Holdaway said.
The unemployed man was arrested at 9.40am for cultivating cannabis, possession of cannabis, possession of cannabis seed and possession of cannabis utensils. He is to appear in the Blenheim District Court on February 11.
A 31-year-old man who was arrested in Market St tried to bite the arresting officer, Mr Holdaway said.
The unemployed man was arrested at 2.30am on Sunday for breaching the liquor ban. He became aggressive toward police and physically resisted arrest.
He was charged with breaching the liquor ban, resisting arrest, and assaulting a police officer. He is to appear in the Blenheim District Court on February 4.
A 50-year-old man was arrested for breaching the liquor ban in Scott St. The vineyard worker was arrested at 1.50am on Sunday and released with a pre-charge warning.
A 21-year-old man was arrested in Kinross St for breaching the liquor ban. The unemployed man was arrested at 3.20am on Sunday and released with a pre-charge warning.
