A 65-year-old Blenheim man has been charged with nine charges of sexual offending against a woman over a period of six months last year.
The man was granted interim name suppression when he appeared in the Blenheim District Court yesterday on two charges of sexually violating the complainant, six charges of indecently assaulting her and one charge of committing an indecent act with intent to offend her between April and September last year.
Judge Denys Barry remanded the man without plea to reappear on March 4 to allow his lawyer to see the evidence against him.
