Forest & Bird want to know where kereru live nationwide.
You can help by getting out and about from 9am on Sunday, February 24 to 4pm Monday, March 4 visiting parklands, forests and reserves on the hunt for this increasingly rare native pigeon.
When you spot a kereru, make a note of where you spotted it; how many kereru you saw; what they were doing; if they were eating, what plant was it?
When you are back home you can enter your results on the Forest & Bird, Kiwi Conservation Club Website.
Visit kcc.org.nz for more information.
