Timber spill at roundabout
A crane prepares to lift a Renwick Transport truck back on to its wheels after it rolled at the roundabout in Middle Renwick Rd in Blenheim early this morning.
A large truck has rolled on the outskirts of Blenheim this morning, spilling its load on to a footpath.
It appears the Renwick Transport truck was heading north into Blenheim when it rolled at the roundabout on Middle Renwick Rd outside Pak 'n Save supermarket.
The truck landed on the footpath and spilled its load on to the second footpath, and narrowly missing a street light pole. The load appeared to be packets of dressed timber.
A crane was on the scene about 7am, lifting the truck back on to its wheels. The crane was taking up the north-bound lane of Middle Renwick Rd, causing some traffic delays.
It is understood no-one was injured in the crash.
