A 28-year-old unemployed woman was arrested on Wednesday after kicking a hole in a lounge wall, according to police.

The woman was arrested in Bythell St, Blenheim, at 4pm and charged with wilful damage, said Constable Andrew Holdaway, of Blenheim.

She is to appear in the Blenheim District Court on Monday.

Police arrested three more people on Wednesday. A 25-year-old unemployed man was arrested at 12.26pm on a historic assault, police said, and was to appear in the Blenheim District Court yesterday.

A 35-year-old unemployed man was arrested for breaching a protection order, said police. He was arrested at 11.25pm and held in police custody overnight to appear in the Blenheim District Court yesterday.

A labourer, 42, was arrested for breaching bail at 7.05pm. He was to appear in the Blenheim District Court yesterday.
