Organisers of the Marlborough Wine and Food Festival are thanking Marlborough for 30 years of support by offering them a cheaper rate for their tickets this year.
As of Monday, festival goers from Marlborough will have a week to buy their tickets for $45.
Tickets will be released for general sale on October 28 for $55 plus a booking fee. The early-bird Marlborough rate is inclusive of the booking fee.
Event organiser Meredith Elley said Marlborough had been so supportive of the festival for the past 30 years that Wine Marlborough wanted to thank them with the special offer.
Headlining the event in February is The Phoenix Foundation, with supporting acts from Wellington artist Iva Lamkum, the Beat Girls and the NZ Army Band.
"We're really excited about the Phoenix Foundation, it will be amazing to see them at the festival," Ms Elley said.
As well as a range of world-class wines and foods, this year's festival at Brancott Vineyard will host two wine tutorials, celebrity chefs and cooking demonstrations as well as the popular annual competition, Fashion in the Vines.
Tickets will be available from the Ticketek Outlet at the Floor Pride Civic Theatre on Arthur St and the Blenheim iSite.
