A taxi van rolled onto its side after a crash in Blenheim last night.

The accident happened about 11pm at the Nelson St and Hutcheson St intersection.

Constable Andrew Holdaway, of Blenheim, said an oncoming car smashed into the taxi van after one of the vehicles failed to give way, causing the taxi to roll on to its side.

The driver of the taxi suffered a minor arm injury, Mr Holdaway said.

Police attended another minor accident yesterday afternoon.

The driver of a car coming out of Henry St failed to give way to a car on Maxwell Rd.

The crash happened about 1.10pm. No one was injured, Mr Holdaway said.
