One of the women involved in a police raid targeting Mongrel Mob drug activity last year has been sentenced to three years in prison.
Amy Simone Elston, 45, appeared in the Blenheim District Court yesterday where she was sentenced on five charges.
Judge Bruce Davidson suppressed details of the sentencing, including submissions by the Witherlea woman's lawyer Liz Hall and crown prosecutor Mark O'Donoghue. He also suppressed the reasoning behind his sentence.
Elston was sentenced to three years each on three charges of conspiring to supply methamphetamine, one charge of offering to supply methamphetamine and one of supplying methamphetamine. The sentences are to be served concurrently.
The offering to supply methamphetamine charge covered incidents between June 28, 2012 and July 14 last year.
The charge of supplying methamphetamine spanned from March 15 to July 15 last year.
