Everything is looking good for the More FM Raft Race on Sunday.
Last year the event was postponed a week due to water contamination and then competitors had to run with their home made rafts along the banks of the Taylor River in Blenheim because the water levels were too low.
However, results from council water tests on Monday show that bacteria levels are well within guidelines, and the river has a good flow after rain earlier in the week.
The weather also looks set to come to the party with rain predicted in the morning but clearing to sunny skies by 1pm.
The race will begin at the Beaver Rd bridge at 2pm and travel down the river for around 1km ending at the amphitheatre.
Registration is from 12.30pm to 1.45pm at the Beaver Rd bridge
