Police arrested a 48-year-old man for using a document for pecuniary advantage.
Constable Andrew Holdaway, of Blenheim, said the scrap metal worker was arrested at 7am on Monday.
He was bailed to appear in the Blenheim District Court on Monday next week.
Police arrested two other people on Monday.
A 36-year-old unemployed woman was charged with obtaining cash by deception, Mr Holdaway said.
The woman was arrested at 8.15am after money was withdrawn from a man's account without his knowledge. She is to appear in court on Monday next week.
A 30-year-old painter was arrested on warrants for his arrest after he failed to appear in the Christchurch District Court.
The man was arrested at 7pm and was held in custody to appear in court yesterday.
