A 28-year-old man was arrested after three bottles of Jim Beam bourbon were stolen from a Blenheim liquor store, police say.
Constable Andrew Holdaway, of Blenheim, said the unemployed man was arrested at 5.30pm on Tuesday after the bottles went missing at Liquorland, on High St.
The man was held in custody and was to appear in the Blenheim District Court yesterday.
A 23-year-old unemployed man was arrested for driving with a suspended licence.
The man was arrested at 6.50pm on Tuesday.
His vehicle was impounded and he is to appear in court on February 17.
