A couple's motorbike ride took a turn for the worse when they came off around a bend near St Arnaud.
The motorbike rider and his wife were airlifted around 1.30pm yesterday by the Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter.
They were riding with friends near St Arnaud when they came off the motorbike as they were decelerating around a bend.
They were treated by ambulance staff and the helicopter intensive care paramedic for their injuries on scene and then both flown to Nelson Hospital Emergency Department in stable conditions for further treatment.
A woman in her late 20s who rolled an all-terrain vehicle and was thrown from it near Upper Moutere was also flown to Nelson Hospital at 8pm on Saturday.
An hour later a woman in her 50s who fell through a veranda roof onto decking below was airlifted from the Dovedale area by the Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter.
She was flown to Nelson Hospital Emergency Department in a stable condition.
