A 44-year-old Blenheim man is in a comfortable condition in Nelson Hospital after a motorbike crash on State Highway 63 near St Arnaud on Sunday.
The man was flown to hospital with serious leg and hand injuries after the bike he was riding collided with another rider at the Tophouse Rd Intersection, about 100km southwest of Blenheim, just before 11am.
Tasman highway patrol Acting Sergeant Peter Carmody said the man was riding as part of a group when he collided with another rider, a 49-year-old woman also from Blenheim.
The woman was taken to Nelson Hospital by ambulance and was treated and discharged.
Both motorbikes have been impounded while police investigated the crash, Mr Carmody said.
