Shoppers 'touched'

A 46-year-old unemployed man was arrested in Blenheim yesterday for offensive behaviour.

Constable Andrew Holdaway said the man had been touching women inappropriately while they shopped.

He was released on bail once sober.

A 15-year-old male student was arrested and returned to his caregivers after breaching his bail.

A 24-year-old male vineyard worker was arrested for breaching his bail and was scheduled to appear in the Blenheim District Court yesterday.

An alarm was activated at a bach on Queen Charlotte Dr. No-one was at the property when police arrived but skid marks could be seen on the road.

The honesty box at a Department of Conservation camping ground in Elaine Bay was broken into and $100 taken.
