A Mongrel Mob member has been arrested on a raft of charges, including aggravated robbery and dealing P.
Police arrested the 23-year-old in central Blenheim yesterday after first going to his home in Blenheim but not finding him.
He has been charged with aggravated robbery, intimidation, dealing both LSD and methamphetamine, or P, as well as supplying cannabis to people under the age of 18.
A 53-year-old former Mongrel Mob associate was also charged with dealing P.
A police spokeswoman said both men were to appear in the Blenheim District Court today.
The arrests were part of a police operation targeting Mongrel Mob drug activities, known as Operation Farewell, she said.
Police carried out 20 search warrants around the country in September as part of the operation. Twenty people were arrested, including seven patched Mongrel Mob members. The searches included nine Marlborough addresses, where 14 people were arrested.
