Hollie is a miniature schnauzer, and is the pet and best friend of Daphne. She enjoys sleeping on Daphne's bed, and often sneaks under the covers during the winter months when the nights get very cold.

She is a very well-behaved companion and sits at the gate each day waiting for Daphne to come home. She is a hopeless guard dog because she never barks, and generally loves people.

Hollie doesn't have a favourite toy, she just enjoys playing with other dogs every chance she can get. If Daphne is unwell, Hollie will follow her every move, until she senses Daphne feels better.

Daphne says she wouldn't have survived the death of her husband without her mate Hollie.
