Police need help to find the culprit who dumped a stolen car in Ludstone Rd after it was involved in a crash on Saturday evening.

The car, a white Subaru Legacy, was taken from a property on Ludstone Rd between 8.30 and 10.30pm.

It was dumped again at St Joseph's School on the same road, after it had been driven around and had been crashed, causing substantial damage to the passenger side.

Sergeant Barry Hansen said somebody was sure to know who was responsible and he urged anyone with information to come forward and speak to police.
