Planning is under way for the Kaikoura Rugby Club's 125th jubilee celebrations.

The event is to be held next year on Queen's Birthday and organisers hope to enlist the community's support to ensure that it is a huge success.

Registration will be held on Friday, May 31. Saturday's schedule includes celebrations and photos, followed by an evening event.

On Sunday a golden oldies game will be played.

A committee has been formed to plan the occasion, and committee member Mark Fissenden is keen to hear from anyone who has ideas or suggestions, old photographs or other memorabilia which could be used for the jubilee.
